Traffic Safety Activities

Community Traffic Safety Awareness Activities

In addition to the creation of ever-better vehicles, one of our ultimate wishes is to see the elimination of traffic accidents. To help preserve the safety of everyone in our local community, we carry out regular traffic safety awareness activities appealing for a reduction in traffic accidents.

Around 3,000 people took part in this activity along Route 248 in Toyota city.

Activities Supporting Education about Intellectual Property in the Local Community

We are working to nurture the creativity of the next generation of children and help build a stronger foundation for monozukuri in the local community. To help realize these aims, we have held patent seminars at the Boys and Girls Invention Club Toyota to demonstrate the link between inventions and intellectual property.

We are donating computers for re-use at vocational training centers for people with disabilities and children’s care facilities.

This idea was raised by our employee-run Benefit Study Council under the concept of TTDC bringing happiness to as many people in our local community as possible. The council actively went beyond its conventional scope of company benefits to consider the feasibility of this idea. After realizing that many care facilities need computes for vocational training and facility management, we decided to donate surplus computers within TTDC for re-use.
This was realized by participating in the Computer Donation Program organized by Toyota Systems Corporation. Since beginning our participation, we have donated computers every year to help expand their usefulness to people with disabilities and children in care facilities.

We have donated projectors, tools, and other equipment to the Boys and Girls Invention Club Toyota.

With the hope of facilitating fresh inventions and helping to realize the dreams of everyone at the Boys and Girls Invention Club Toyota due to their impressive creativity, we made an appeal within the company for re-usable items of equipment. As a result, we were able to donate a projector, needle-nose pliers, soldering irons, electrical cord reels, and protective glasses to the club.
